Warranty Claim Guide
When pool equipment develops a possible manufacturing defect, the warranty process usually depends on the manufacturer's written coverage and the documentation available for the product and installation. Nexus can help customers organize the information needed to start that process.
Step 1: Identify the product
Gather the manufacturer, exact model, serial number and Nexus order number or invoice.
Step 2: Document the issue
Write down what the product is doing, when the problem began and any error codes or unusual symptoms. Take photographs or video when they can demonstrate the problem safely.
Step 3: Gather installation information
Some warranties depend on installation method or installer qualifications. Have the installation date, installer information and relevant electrical, plumbing or startup documentation available when applicable.
Step 4: Do not make unnecessary modifications
Before disassembling, modifying or replacing components, review the manufacturer's instructions or obtain qualified service guidance. Unauthorized modifications can complicate diagnosis and may affect warranty coverage.
Step 5: Contact Nexus or the manufacturer
Nexus can help identify the appropriate manufacturer support path. The manufacturer ultimately determines coverage under its written warranty unless Nexus has expressly provided a separate written warranty.
