Product Purchase vs. Nexus-Managed Installation

Nexus Pools serves customers in two related but distinct ways: through the Pool Supply Center and through managed fiberglass pool projects. Understanding the difference helps set clear expectations.

Product Only

A Pool Supply Center purchase is the purchase of the listed product unless the product page or written order expressly includes another service. Installation, electrical work, plumbing, permits, site work and project management are not automatically included with an online product purchase.

Product Selection Assistance

Nexus may help customers identify equipment or replacement parts based on information provided by the customer. Final installation suitability can depend on site conditions, existing equipment and applicable codes.

Nexus-Managed Fiberglass Pool Project

Under a managed project engagement, Nexus helps the homeowner organize and coordinate defined aspects of a fiberglass pool project, including sequencing, procurement and subcontractor coordination according to the agreed project scope.

Independent trade work

Electrical, plumbing, excavation and other regulated or specialized work should be performed by appropriately qualified trades as required by applicable law and the project arrangement.

Why the distinction matters

Buying a heater from Nexus does not automatically make Nexus the installer of that heater. Likewise, equipment supplied as part of a managed pool project can be coordinated within a much broader project scope.
